Pressure washer tripped the breaker and I forgot the outlet on the back of the house was on the same circuit. I reset the breaker but didn't restart the smoker so dinner is still 2 hours away :(

Idk if I should put the .308 scope on the AR then get a better one for my .308 or just get a scope for the ar.

Really depends on the type of scope.

Ideally, if your bolt gun is a sporter type with pencil barrel, you'll want a rifle with a simple reticle.

If it has a heavier profile, and it's something meant for distance, then maybe a scope with a larger objective and a lot of elevation built in.

All depends what you want to do as well.

Damn that's a good looking group for a "concoction" of a load.

Good to know that case didn't pose a problem; unless it's for an AR or something, I'll normally go new brass and separate by number of firings.

Sure brass like Nosler is expensive, but I've put some hot loads through them various times through.

    Good shit though

Makes me want to go and teach reloading/shooting to someone.

Been doing a lot of reading on loading the .303 this evening. Apparently the rifles have extremely excessive headspace 'cause battle rifle and all. With it being a rimmed cartridge and headspacing off said rim, the brass stretches at the base, rather than the neck. This leads to case head separation happening much sooner than normal cartridges. Most people say to use PPU brass from Serbia since they specialize in old military calibers, and only neck size after the first firing. Getting more than 5 reloads off any brand of brass is pretty rare from what I read, but that S&B stuff is super common to separate on the first reloading. Which sucks, cause its damn good for factory ammo and Ive got a pile of it to shoot up.

Im gonna do a bit more testing before I buy a whole brick of these magnum primers, but its looking good so far.

    Maybe, maybe not.

I know for one specific company, they wanted me to send in my DD214 and military ID etc as they only provide a discount to active duty; they extended it to me though due to certain circumstances.

I'll check when I get off work
