    Hey all,

New to the forum here. Just picked up my taco yesterday. A '19 double cab sr. I have tons that i would like to do to it to make it a capable daily/camping mobile for the family. I have ordered a bestop softtopper and am trying to source some rims to get rid of these ugly stock rims. Hope to learn a lot from the forum and look forward to throwing my "build" up as i go.

    Thanks!

Thanks! i definitely look forward to learning a bunch and more than likely spending a bunch at the same time. It seems like the possibilities for these little trucks are endless.

I’m currently towing a 2300lb boat with a 2.7. Not passing anyone that’s for sure. About 12-14mpg on highway with overdrive offtowing the flat grounds of Florida. Autozone is doing sale. 1500lb above leaf helpers for 5.99$. Jump on it. Also recommend a transmission cooler or replacing the tiny stock size one.

Toyotadilly, thanks for the info. I’ll be sure to keep that in mind. I have a cheap little trailer that I use to haul around our dirt bikes and it weighs next to nothing. I think loaded with 5 bikes (wife, myself, and the kids) we are barely tipping the scales at 11-1200 at most. I do plan on converting the trailer into more of an off-road camping trailer so the extra weight in support structure and tires will for sure change how she tows.
