I joined that whole #CancelNetflix movement or whatever it is.

They've been promoting homosexual relationships for years. This thing with "Cuties" was the final straw. If you aren't aware/familiar with the situation, they have a french film that they are promoting/defending that shows little girls dancing provocatively. Supposedly a little girl (either 11 or 13) even takes her pants off to take a picture of her privates to post on the internet.

I haven't watched it, and I'm not going to; so I'm only going off what I've read. They say it is "to bring light to" things that are happening, but it supposedly feels like they are normalizing the behavior.

 

I will say at least it is SAS now, it used to be a drop bracket lift so it's slowly going in the right direction (IMO) but still not a fan of it

There's a lot more I could say about Netflix that at this point their "originals" are bordering on propaganda, but like you said best keep it civil. I understand your complaints.

Not trying to change the subject but has any tired Poole's Bar-B-Q in Ellijay? Went there with the wife a couple of weeks ago and thought it was outstanding. They even had a good Covid program in place. I was a fan of North Ga. BBQ in Helen but just damn this was some good stuff. Luckily we beat a biker club to the door they had about 30 members and the wait would have been another 30! Just good food at least we thought so!

 

Yes, my wife and I have been eating there when we head north to the mountains for years. Pro tip- great outdoor seating where we could bring our dogs. It’s very cool eclectic feel.

 

I like BBQ

 

I’m down for a wide variety of bbq, but I’d have to be starving to get in on what appears to be the horse-like critter there.

 

The BBQ in Helen, is North GA BBQ the name of the place? I’m headed up there in a few weeks, would love suggestions for local eateries I can’t get at home.
