What do you think about the Silverstar bulbs?

    Are they worth it?

That's debatable. They're definitely whiter than standard bulbs. But they don't seem to have the longevity. The Silverstar Ultras supposedly last longer. But he didn't want to spend the money on them...and I don't blame him

Is there better visibility over standard/stock bulbs?

Tried them in my truck and didn't notice anything special about them. I settled on Sylvania Xtravision, they seem slightly better than factory. I did try the LED bulbs, but was severely disappointed (as expected). Low beam was ok, but high beam was pretty much no light output worth a damn. Never got flashed, but light was slightly scattered as well.

They say there is and they are hotter on the light temp scale....meaning they look whiter in color. It's what he wanted....so really that's all that matters I guess

I tried them on a couple of vehicles way back when they 1st came out. The light they threw was definitely whiter in color. But beyond that, there wasn't much of anything special about them. Back then, they were marginally inexpensive. But they've gotten quite pricey over the years. And the Silverstar Ultras, which are supposed to last longer have gotten stupid pricey for what they are
