Does anyone have PRP seat covers it experience with them? I haven't found much information on them.

Wondering how it compares to the Clazzio as they're both clean looking slip ons.

Hey, I know this post is a few months old but I just installed some PRPs. I think they look great and were relatively easy to install. I know people are happy with Clazzio. I just liked the look of Rob Daman’s (even though I went with all black). Here’s a video he did recently on PRP’s longevity if you haven’t seen it: https://m.youtube.com/watch?list=UUnfQTJ8qcKgzSR2WrrFnwrw&v=JSl4G0iNk1g

So yeah, hopefully that helps. Shoutout PRP... going to make cleaning easier and my truck looks way better. Also, shoutout Rob Daman your truck is dope.

    Fair enough, let’s see them!

I like the look of Clazzio as well. PRP was less expensive, even compared to Clazzio’s vinyl. I’ve heard Roadwire makes a good product as well. Clazzio has that breakaway stitching for the side airbag and PRP has that flap thing you can see on my driver’s seat. That portion probably looks cleaner on the Clazzios. I don’t really care as long as my airbags function correctly.

Ultimately, they’re both seat covers. If I wanted my seats to be super badass I would have gone with Katzkin. That’s the way to go if aesthetics is your priority... And it’s not even close.

I’m sure I could tighten these PRPs down even more to make them look closer to OEM... my hands were over it though.

Oh and PRP is made in the USA! :oldglory:

Clazzio’s website says, “Clazzio is hand made in factories in Japan, China, India, and some are even made right here in the US. Plans are underway to increase production in the US for 2013 which will reduce shipping time.” Probably time to update their website.

How long is PRP’s delivery time and why can’t they send to PO Box locations?

I know this is an older thread, but I love my Katzkins. Looks and feels so much better than OEM leather.

From the initial order to the delivery confirmation email was four weeks. I’m not sure how long it took from confirmation to arrival… it wasn’t bad though.

As far as the PO Box thing… I’d reach out to them directly. I’m assuming it has something to do with the size of the package. Some PO Box locations or services won’t accept or hold larger packages, so they probably don’t want to deal with it.

For what it’s worth, they’re holding up well. I get compliments on them all the time… people think I have leather seats which is funny.

Thank you very much for the reply! I will give PRP a call right now and see if they can solve the PO Box thing

I purchased PRP seat covers for my 2023 OR the first week I got the rig. I loved them, easy to install and looked great. Then I took a 3 hour trip across state, here in Florida. The Mrs and my backs started sweating. No matter how low I put the AC, that was an issue with the seat covers. Local short trips didn't bother us. So, I just installed a set of Clazzios, which have the perforated middle section that allows for breathing. Noticable difference in comfort during long drives. The quality of material seems softer and less rugged, more of a leather feel than marine vinyl, which I like. I paid 1k for the PRP's, which took 6 weeks to arrive. The Clazzios took 5 days to arrive, paid $510 with the TacomaWorld discount.

My impression is that the PRP would be good for cooler and wet climates, where the Clazzio's might not fair as well. But here in the tropics, the Clazzios are preferred.
