Yeah but you do that stuff on purpose... lol
Man I'd much rather take my truck over rocks than to go through mud/water! That stuff gets everywhere any wears down seals on there way to ruining cv axles, bearings, u-joints etc. Hell there are whole web sites devoted to being anti mud! https://forum.ih8mud.com

I assumed IH8Mud was a joke, like "I hate mud, I'm going to drive all over it!". I'm still new to this but rocks are so stressful and so slow! I was so jealous of the guys getting to bomb through the mud

    Gotta pay to play!
Hence why I carry spare CV, Drive shaft, and wheel bearing.
I'll clean it today or tomorrow.
When it's that dirty I'm usually a 40-50$ bill and 4 hours at the car wash...
Then everything gets regressed...well what I can get to anyway.

That was definitely one of the harder obstacles I've been through.
I need to put a note in my truck that says,
    Remove license plate before wheeling!

I'm always getting it caught on something!:bananadead:

Yeah but also you never know what's lurking inside the mud/water!

Not only that but you never know how deep it is! I'm speaking from experience. Replacing your interior sucks!

The one who dies with the most stuff wins.
I think @Skierrichy and mud pits just go together like peas and carrots. Seems like every run, someone has a video of Rich bombing a mud hole

Looks like you guys had a blast. I'll definitely make the next run up there!

I try and check as much as possible and I got even more confident when I saw the Jeep go through it.
I took same line he did just backwards.
But that truck is my toy, I use and abuse.
Then I get things back in order.
I wouldn't be doing half the stuff I do with it if it was my daily driver.

I think the icing on the cake was when you backed your truck into a tree to fix your welded license plate lol.

Yep that plate has been through hell and back.
My front plate got so bad I just leave it under my seat.
I don't recommend this on account of tickets and such but when I pull it out and show the cop they going to get a good laugh.

Even though we might bomb through it, we are always trying to be aware of hidden things underneath that kick the snot out of our undercarriage...lol. I myself took a different line on one pit and felt something hard underneath me.....thank god for my armored undercarriage.

    Yes!
The last skid plate actually is the lowest point on my truck so if I hit that it clues me to slam brakes on because the pumpkin is next.
I have a love/hate relationship with that skid plate.

That's something I won't do unless it's an emergency or I need to get home now!
I don't like water or mud coming over the sliders.
It happens from time to time though but it's usually in and out.
