I like the 470 body more. They are awesome vehicles. So smooth and perfect amount of power.

 

I almost bought a 100 series yesterday and was like... why am I gonna pay 20k for a vehicle no more capable than this one.

I doubt you're likely to take apart the actuator to change the DC motor, but if you do I have some Rover motors that might be the same.

I’m reading about doing that, it seems pretty simple to do, a lot of threads say cleaning the motors worked too since the dust from the brushes is the culprit

it is, if it’s a short D shaped shaft. Some are round. Needs to look like the bottom one.

Was it at Leeds? Limehouse has almost got me a couple times. That current rips through there. I was drifting outside Shem Creek a few weeks ago waiting for kayaks to move and ended up running into the mud flats. Tide was coming in and I was at idle. Still felt like a boat noob.

 

I almost never used leeds, too many morons. I'd use Jessen and run the river to the harbor.
