Immediately after this happened, I laid down to do some stretches as I've hurt my back in the past and this helped.

This type of pain is different though and I can't even walk normally.

Yeah probably hit a nerve. It'll probably work itself out with some time.

Sounds like a pinched nerve. Once I turned 40 shit like that happens way more often. The worst is when it's in your neck.

    Shit

Its the first so I'm here having to learn how to walk, and though I figured out to use my right foot/leg for everything...even then there are pains that shoot up the left side.

I'm late for work and can barely walk.

    Fuck

Damn that sux. For me most the time it last a day or 2 but lessons in pain over a few days. To bad it's morning not at night a few shots of Jack tend to help.

One time when I was about 28 yrs old I got this free "trainer lesson" at the gym I went to, but the dude had no clue how to train. I don't do deadlifts and he was adamant that they were the best workout exercise ever so I gave in. Deadlifts absolutely have to be done correctly or you end up like how I did

I remember it was like this surge of heat went all the way up my spine and then the lower half of my torso just went numb (no pain, not yet anyway). I figured since it didn't hurt right away I lucked out, but the next morning I woke up and looked like Quasimoto my lower back was so freaking swollen. And it hurt like a mk'er. Didn't go away for almost a week, had to eat muscle relaxers like candy just so I could sleep.

    Back injuries suck

Might as well call the pound and set up an appt to get put down, there's no coming back from this :luvya:

Kidding. Absolutely sounds like a pinched nerve, I've dealt with that for years now. I thought it was just a part of getting older and I was cursed cause it started my senior year of high school. Many years later I got a free consultation from a chiropractor for some work I did for him and he took xrays... turns out I broke my back and have been walking around with the spinous process fractured clean off on my L3 vertebra 20130322_090950-1.jpg

Here's a zoomed in photo with the break circled if you cant see it in the big photo20200921_091326.jpg

If your pain persists more than 2 days, lemme know I've got pages of stretching exercises I can photocopy and send you if you like

Hot compress and IBUPROFEN will be your friend. Regretfully I don't know how much you should take how frequently because all NSAIDs put me into anaphylactic shock lol

One of the guys that got furloughed here left behind his 'standing desk', which I always thought was a dumb concept...why would I want to stand all day if I can sit in a comfy chair lol.

Now that I'm the one sitting around all day doing the work they used to do, Im seriously considering taking that standing desk. I start to go crazy sitting for too long.

I had to get a pair of those blue light glasses too, staring at a giant computer screen all day is starting to really strain my eyes.

Next I'm gonna get fucking carpal tunnel or something

    Oof

Yeah I'm asking around for some ibuprofen as it'll help relax the muscles around the nerve.

Our general manager had gone to medical school and was already telling me what I need to do etc lol
