Yes, the article I read stated that they're a hybrid of European Wild Boar (introduced in the 19th century)...
    ...and domestic Hogs.
So they're formidable, aggressive, and prolific.
Domestic Hogs have large litters annually, and those Wild Hogs do as well.

We don't have that problem here...yet.
I doubt they'd get much of a foothold here.
You may not know this, but PA and MI have far more licensed hunters than other states.
One year PA has the most, other years it's MI.

Hunting access is quite good in PA.
Farmers are very accommodating if you ask respectfully.
If you also offer to shoot their groundhogs, you're in.

Wild Hogs would be like times 10.

Farmers here are not very accommodating with their daughters. One time, I broke down and went up to a farmers house and knocked on the door...

They wait 7 months to tell people that they don’t work. Must be that Canadian cloth because we can still wear them here.

Back when I was on the Board of Directors at my Club...
....the Game Commission guys would come out and give talks, answer questions, etc.

That's where I got that tidbit about numbers of licensed hunters.
I presume it still holds true. :notsure:

Hunting is deeply ingrained in the culture here.
    Especially Buck Season.
Many businesses still close on opening day.

I feel like this is slowly dieing in places. Only places I see closing for anything involving hunting is the Local Mom and Pop shops dedicated to hunting. Especially in this big city I live in. When I grew up in the middle of now where back east you would have thought the first week of deer season was a national holiday. you would see everyone driving around with rifles and shotguns in their trucks. No one went to school or work and the woods sounded like a war zone.

Out of the 20 or so guys I work closely with here only one guy other than myself is taking time off work to go hunting this fall. I haven't even heard talks of any other fellas out hunting. Seems to me to be less people but could be a location thing. If i moved again somewhere else maybe it would be more prevalent again.

Happy anniversary to @StayinStock and Mrs. @StayinStock and happy anniversary to @Twizted

I'd vote not to, but my guess is you can pretty much grow that back in a few weeks so have fun with it :notsure:

Mutton chops or a good Amish chin strap
Was the cloth masks the only recent addition? That seems like a crazy exclusion list. Hope they change that up for you guys.

No that whole list is new. you basically could have whatever face covering as long as nose and mouth were covered. then last night they came out with that list. Crazy thing is they issued everyone in the field a neck gaiter style to use just a month or so ago.

Really? That's roll eyes? That's a smile. Smiles are not associated with eye rolling.

Thats a smile looking up at the message above.

Gotcha. Makes sense I guess..... I'm still wearing the same two or three masks my wife brought home from the hosiptal 6 months ago. Pretty sure they are still clean and sterile.
