It happened to me (unintended acceleration)

My 05 Tacoma dbl cab has 110000 miles and i had the recall done about a month ago then two weeks ago while at a stop with my wheels cut hard to the right and raining my Tacoma went full throttle i popped it into neutral then slammed it in to park and turned it off. i should have left it in the middle of the road but i restarted it and took it to the dealer and they found nothing of course!!. Not once in two weeks did they call me i had to keep calling them they basically said tough shit. I loved my truck and did not want buy a new one but i lost faith in it and I don't like the other compact trucks out there so i traded it in on a new 2011 Tacoma they gave me a pretty good trade in value but it still feels horrible it was just broken in, they can't even say the words unintended acceleration it will be the last vehicle we buy from Toyota

I woulda turned it off in neutral and then put it in park lol just sayin. Sorry to see you give up on a great brand of car or truck.

It has not been entirely proven to be driver error. Joint investigation with Toyota, NASA and NSF continues.

Looks like he have one smart one that shifted to neutral, congrats to you sir. I just took my truck to the dealer to change a cv boot and had to argue to 5 different fuck heads about not wanting to have the pedal chop done. How fucking hard is it to shift to neutral I really can't see how people panic that fast, tell me if I'm over the line but I think people should learn how to drive.
