Glad you got people at work looking out for ya!

You can always make your own hot compress by soaking a hand towel (or a bunch of paper towels) in water, putting that in a ziploc bag and microwaving it

We have a handful of the standup desks as well I tried one for a day to me it just got annoying. When I start to get stiff mid winter I just go out on the hill "check on instructors and there lessons" and take a few laps.
Pretty soon you need one of the bowling glove/wrist gards.

Welcome to being fucking old. Gotta move to live pain free. Some people call it "throwing your back out" too, which it could be. Doesn't take much to piss off the soft tissues back there. Do those stretches in the morning and afternoon, they will help. Get into the habit of doing them daily after, that is preventative.

Actually that's where I got some of my stretches from when I did hurt my back before...something my girl recommended.

Haven't been doing anything physically strenuous lately to be inclined to stretch in the mornings and maybe this happening is the cause of that.

Worst part about all this is I was going to start working on the 4R immediately tomorrow morning since its my day off.

Yeah, see how you are doing tomorrow morning first. It sucks but you might need to give it a day.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
None of these pictures feature the two cross members that are now there, this frame had no cross members originally, that's why this kit also helps. The trans was actually mounted at the bellhousing off that front stock member so since this 55 is getting an LS it needed places for a trans to mount. The rear shocks originally went from axle to body, and the crossmember I'll be putting in there will put a stop to that and make it stronger as well. It'll be a full ladder frame when I'm done with it.

Here it is before I did any of the fit-up work on it, but you can see the members, they're all braced, not just flat stock.
