Lift question

If I were to get toytec coils and set it to 3.5" and a toytec add a leaf kit would I need anything else for my lift kit?

 

And you'll likely need new UCA's to get your alignment right with 3" of lift.

i wouldnt go over three unless you wanna dump money into a drop bracket lift

 

Ok I guess I'll get uca's and bilstien 5100 with eibach coils instead of the toytec coils. Is their any way to bump the truck up a little bit more than 3 inches to make 285/75 16 fit better?

You are in luck then. Lift spindles for the front will give you 4" of lift without changing any of your shocks, springs, UCA's, etc, and will ride just like stock.

Camburg makes some good ones.

Not hard at all. That's the most popular combo on here. Requires some trimming and sometimes a cab mount chop.

 

how hard is the cab mount chop? and will it be needed with kumho at kl78 if i barely ever hit the dirt?

 

Search for "cab mount chop"..there are plenty of threads that cover it.

The rubbing has nothing to do with going offroad, it rubs at full lock.

 

How bad will it rub without the cab chop? Is it only bad when I'm turned all the way?

 

If you get new wheels with a 4.5" Backspace or less. You wont rub the Cab mount. I think its only when offroading at full flex and turning is when you will rub it.

Not recommended to set them above 0.85 when you are using eibach coils. That will give you around 2.5" of lift.

 

should i use a spacer for the drivers side?
