    Did you try using one of those cheap OBD code readers? Something with its own built in cable or the plug in bluetooth diagnostic tool. If it connects with ECU and can read codes or whatever then you can kinda eliminate the truck wiring pins and battery as the culprit and narrow it down to the Tactrix.

    If this is the result of a bad flash (whatever the root cause) I expect it's not in a proper state to read at all....so this error makes sense.

    check posts from @ForceOfG cause he made a tune with gearlock enabled based on performance tune, thx, acis mods,and 1st gear throttle limits. Change diff1 and diff 2 in drivetrain control to 4.88 and change tire size to half of your measured height

    but techstream is still using the same Tactrix cable right? I'm saying use a system that connects to ECU through a completely different cabling

    nope. Normal driving. Drove for months with a CEL due to the dump tubes and not having a tune for them since the tune I had was on pcmflash and I turned in my dongle.

    Two options, pulling the ECU and sending to me, or if you're not too terrible with making some wires to connect directly to the pins on the ECU, I can show you how to recover it at home.

    You'll also need a 12v power source.
