UCA's will get the caster back where you need it for stability. I will probably get them straight away, based on your experience.
Not sure about the ECGS though. I have never had an issue with the last two 4Runners and FJ with similar lifts. Unless this is a "Tacoma thing", I will try without first.

    So. Many. Stickers.
since you're going to be doing your front suspension anyway, the ECGS bushing is super easy and not expensive to do at all, you may just want to do it while you're in there. Best case is it saves you the hassle down the road, worst case is you're out very little additional time and money but you still have peace of mind of knowing you have a much stronger setup.

The needle bearing is a tacoma thing, easy to replace too.

UCAs (JBA is the best value) along with a lift is always a good idea to get the cast back in line.

    I'll just say this..
When they took mine out, there was one needle that fell to the ground. All others were in place.

    Happy it's done.

It's my favorite part of doing UCA swaps.

Can anyone clarify if you can set the front shocks to a “0” position where there’s NO preload whatsoever. Yes, that means less lift, but I’m only after 1” In the front and not 2”. Should make the ride even softer as well
    Theoretically.

If not, I’ll have to buy the shocks and coils separately and use the 700lb Eibach coil

Could you please help elaborate? JBA's were at the top of my list, however I thought the initial design issues have been corrected?

I won’t even lie - this is why I just had a shop install my upper before an alignment. I did everything else.

    money well spent

Thanks! 2nd notch and the wheels are the method 315’s. The silver goes great with the chrome accents. Everyone goes with the stealth look nowadays, had to switch it up a bit.

I’ve seen a few vids on the UCA install and the shop will de mine. I can do the struts but the UCA looks like a pain in the but.

I tried to do a buddies with him and it was retarded difficult. Granted we weren’t as prepared as we should have been, but was still worth having a shop do it since it was already there for an alignment anyways.

Interesting. So you're telling me I can fit 285s on my Taco as long as I get aftermarket UCAs. I'm on the second notch too. Hmmm!

17×8.5 with -12 offset on 285/75r17 KO2s. Set at the bottom notch.

CMC, hammered pinch weld, and trimming of the back fender liner where the pinch weld used to be. Viper cut on the lower front bumper helps with clearing rubbing up front. I still have a little rubbing on the bottom of the drivers side fender flares when I'm going in reverse. I have JBAs coming in which will eliminate all of the rubbing.

    Like, so many.
What height are you guys running your Eibachs at? I’ve got mine at 3 inches, but I think it might be too high. Thinking of dropping it to 2.

Sounds about right. If you want to fit 285s, and use your suspension, you have to cut.

To compensate for the taco lean; do y’all use the driver side spacer or do you set the passenger down a notch? Right now I have both side set on the middle notch with the spacer and I still have the lean

Anyone running these on the top notch? Mine currently sits in the middle and it seems a bit low. I have a slimline bumper with a synthetic line winch.
