Well I remembered how to lay it down on the grill with some chicken!

We had cow slabs last night and I forgot to take mine off early, so it cooked to medium well. I was sad.

 

This is the first time I've done skin on chicken on the grill. They promptly caught fire. Now it's burnt to a crisp on the outside and medium rare on the inside. FML. I'm sticking to steaks from now on. Chickens for the oven.

I turned into the tide to motor out and I think it was the combination of the tide and my T-Top catching the wind like a sail. As soon as my boat was parallel to the docks I was done.

that’s the technical term...probably the best way to grill a chicken. 300F will get the skin crispy after an hour and a half or so.

 

Yep, or a turkey, but I've had pretty good luck doing turkey whole and not split before.
