Perfect. @disconnected is the closest I believe. I can most likely meet the day you get back from your trip, I wasn't sure what day you planned to return with an extended weekend.

 

i just got back from mtn ridge and saw this...i hadnt planned on joining you fellows as we had already had plans for a couple months now.

looking forward to seeing some pictures from the trip tho.

Well I’ve been away busy playing and working, but should have been in touch here on TW and missed you guys! @disconnected it looks like you had a great trip. Sorry about the job. I feel ya. My work is very slow. @PlatinumCloud, I hope you, the wife, and the pooch have been well. I was hanging out with @MagtechPA since we have a mutual friend, and he talked me into getting my Harley sporster back on the road. I’ve been doing so much stuff with family and friends that I didn’t want to tempt myself on here, but here I am again! I also see some newbies to the group. Welcome!

We did something crazy, and towed the boat to Portland, OR and back. Boating and pitching a tent through the country where we could squeeze in unnoticed. We also discovered an unbelievable cozy Inn with a 2 minute walk to the bay 4 hours from here I’m Annapolis if any of you are interested. We went there twice as well. It was that good. Inn at Horn Point. The owners are very down to earth.

The pacific coast was pretty sweet. It was right before all the fires, so we were pretty lucky. I’m back now, did an oil change, rotation, and now I have to leave to ABQ, NM to do some work in a couple weeks.

While I’m out there I’m going to organize a desert off-road ride, which is very intense and fun. We’ll camp out in BLM land in the middle of a natural amphitheater I discovered years ago. The likelihood of getting stuck from not knowing how to drive well is high up there. I’ll be accompanied by a bunch of newbies who know I did this trip a lot. It takes about 5 hours one way.

Once I’m back I’ll provoke some winter meetups and rides.

@Loco_Driver glad to see your hiatus is over. was really starting to wonder. hope all is well with everyone on your end too. have your woman drink a cider or 4 for me.

At least your getting out doing things while you can. stay covid free, that said i heard alcohol kills everything.

hit me up when your back and we can see what we can get into. the woman likes to go to benezette when the snow flys to try and spot elk...tbh i think she just likes wheeling on all the back roads there when the snow is on the ground.

my route is pretty fun. probably maybe will only need 4wd twice. Im on the stock OR "all terrains" though, so if your on bfg you probably wont need 4wd.

 

This is as worse as it gets with mostly dirt roads. But it’s cool, ending near or at Ohiopyle pending time.

 

family dinner at 4...im out...once hunting season starts ill be venturing north again to finish my route.

 

That’s practically in my back yard. It’s one of the reasons I like being around here.

Hey @disconnected ! Ive been around. Been busy lately. Want to get out do some exploring someday. We ought to get together in the future.

Oh and for whatever reason I dont get alerts for this thread. Even though Im following it.

Some threads I follow only start to send me alerts after I view the thread once in awhile. Idk
