Hey @Scott17818 did I see you in Lincoln NH this weekend? Saw a red taco with a RTT accidentally turn into the exit lanes at price rite but I didn't get a good look :p

That's part of why I do it, it's not a main heat source and even as a backup it's mediocre. But it's nice for sitting in the living room, but it gives me something to do in the summer.

Good for ambiance or for heating a small space you don't use much, for sure.

When we build I'm planning on a 'library' room with a fireplace, but it's going to be set off on it's own, on it's own heat zone, and I'll be able to shut it off from the rest of the house.

Saw a convoy headed South on I-95 yesterday, Tacoma Doublecab hauling a No-Bo camper, followed by a white 4Runner with a 'her runner' license plate, followed by a blue Wrangler. Truck and Runner were lifted & set up for overlanding, Jeep was not. Looked like they might have been following an old RHD Land Rover at one point, but the next time I saw them (South of Augusta) the Rover had disappeared. Not sure if they were anybody on here, but they were sharp looking trucks.

Rover probably did what Rovers do best, broke down somewhere on the side of the road. Great off road, terrible on road.

This was an oldie though, pre Range Rover era. From that era they aren't any less reliable than any other vehicle of that age, lol.

The oyster po boy is a killer. I’m a fan of the fried oyster plate dinner. Damn good NE clam chowder too. It’s our go to place whenever we go see the kid at URI.

I went because living in RI, I've never had Rhode Island Chowder, and they have it. I also had the Tuna tartare tacos and lobster roll. Very good.

500 bucks. If the front part of the frame is good enough I’m tempted to get it, learn to weld to patch up the frame and yee haw the bitch until it snaps in half.

    tires aren’t matching.

I could sell the one KO tire for like 50 bucks. That’s 10% right there.

yeah this things ready to snap at the rear. I didn’t get to the rest of the frame. If the rest is “acceptable” then I’ll consider it, take the bed off and sell it (hey another 10%!), weld on some new plates because whatever, and put together some redneck flat bed situation out of PT. Or a sheet of ply.

I’ll have to find out what the insurance would be. In theory a third beater vehicle will reduce insurance and if it does it by enough it might be worth it if it only lasts me through the winter alone. And if the engine runs I could probably sell it as a parts truck for 500 or hell 250 don’t care.

I’ll have to call the guy and see if I can check out the rest of the frame. That frame is definitely held together by hope at this point. If I can repair the hope for a few months and it’s worth it....might give it a whirl.

edit running boards look decent enough shape I could get 100 bucks out of those. Hell I might be in the money before I even get it to be inspected

    To many, but never done
That setup would have come in handy with my 12+ cords this year.
Definitely don't need a workout dealing with wood:thumbsup:
