I am not on board with the 'pandemic', the numbers do not meet what they are saying.

You honestly think its ok to bankrupt thousands of small bushiness, send our countries into massive massive dept, that may never be recoverable.

Over something that mainly only effects people over the age of 65+, who could have simply warn masks, and stayed safe themselves by having things delivered and such.

It makes no sense to me, no matter how to you try to spin it.

The common flu kills more people in Australia, why dont they do something about that? o_O

Went up to the VMUTS look out on both Saturday and Sunday on the new trail #21. Starts at the end of Pine RD in Balsam Creek.

I take Songis on the way home

the pandemic apparently has something like 3% chance to jump to you.

you have 100 skittles in your hand. 3 of which will kill you.

will you still eat the skittles?

i'm fully aware business are being wiped out left, right, and center. look at New Brunswick. there are some businesses that 100% rely on the US crossing the borders and going hunting on our lands. Hunting season starts this weekend in Ontario, we're gonna see the same.
I too am not happy about it.

anyways. i'll refrain from talking more about this further as it treads on my personal rules about not talking about politics. nothing good comes from it.

@TacooSaucee dont convince yourself that its the tires holding you back

I ran my 70/30's till almost bald, one time I went out with some guys that I had never rode with before. We met up at timmies in North Bay, they all mocked my back tire telling me

'Dont worry Wes we will wait for you with that baldy on there.'

I am at the trail head with my helmet off, eating a sandwich when they arrive.

'How in the fuk do you go so fast on a bald tire Wes?'

A rider can make up for lots of issues on the bike, just need practice.

Behind all the rules and regulations is the power to make them. And now if in the wrong hands the government via this pandemic has more power than ever. As I see it, and I could be wrong in my interpretation hear, As long as were in a state of emergency the government can impose anything they feel necessary to fix whatever problem they are facing, whether that problem is based on factual information or speculation, they can take whatever measures they feel necessary.

I leave this topic now and back to my own little world I've carved out so far and would like to keep it...

    Just googled;
    world covid tracker

If you look at what is happening in Canada with the low amount of actual testing, tracking etc.
You'll realize these numbers are probably very low compared to what it probably is in the world tracking system...

    Total cases
    31.1M

    Recovered
    21.3M

    Deaths
    961K

While the death count may be accurate in Western countries it will be underreported in very poor countries.
It may also be under-reported by developed countries to not cause panic or economic disruption.
Government does not want to look like it mishandled the pandemic and not get voted in next term...

Trying to figure out the facts in this situation is like trying to separate Fly Shit from the Pepper while some asshole keeps turning on a fan.

This "flu" didn't go away during the summer like most do, now with regular flu season on the way...
    and people congregating indoors .
    Catch Flu1 then Flu2...

Extended fevers causes dehydration and thickens the blood which causes clotting and mini-strokes even in the younger population.
The brain does not do well with the elevated temperatures for a long time.
A lot of people are getting lung damage from this.

I know we all like to say "What does not kill you makes you stronger!" but that is not always the case.

I had it at end of March, took me a month before I thought I was normal, worked out for a couple months after that to get what I thought was back to "normal".
Couple days ago I carried a 100lb motor up a couple flights of stairs, realized I'm still not back to "normal"...

Yeah the odds of being struck by lightning are pretty low, but I don't go fishing in lightning storms either..

Inadequate Knowledge combined with inadequate sampling and data led to a less than optimal response,
combine that with economics and greed, the response is completely fumbled.

You don't need a mask outside in the sun on a breezy day if you are up wind of an infected person...
Downwind and if they sneeze or cough or pronounce the right letters when talking, it may not be enough protection...
It's not enough protection indoors with an infected person in the area in the past few hours and possibly days depending on surface contact.
Put some UV dye on your hands, then shine a black light on your face at the end of the day, and you'll see what I'm taking about.

Nice KLX. How do you like the 250 on 80km/h roads? My concern is passing a slowpoke doing 79 where I wanna go 90-95.

I smell an upcoming Dual-sport tour next year! (Not this year, bike’s in too many pieces haha)

I don't want to argue... but at the beginning... something like this has not happened in 100 years to this level... they didn't know what to do... (per my buddy at Toronto Health)... remember there is no precedence for this. Some people are doing the right thing, others are not. Is everyone you work with perfect? Unlikely... it's the same in the government. If we would have known what we do now, and how it migrates, all businesses would have stayed open with masks. Remember at the beginning everyone was wearing gloves, and now we have learned that they are not needed?

Remember, the masks only prevent you spreading the disease to others, it does NOT protect you.

As long as people are vigilant and not spraying their mucuous on others, businesses / events should stay open. But you know how people get when they get some booze in them... hard to control...

Doing 80km/h in 6th gear it revs at 6k and starts to get pretty buzzy. I've gone just over 100 and wasn't very stoked about it. Of course there's no windshield and I have an open face helmet so not really an ideal set-up, but I was getting blown around a fair amount and it was sketchy at best.

To be fair I've read that the KLX250 is geared better for highway than a DRZ400 and other higher displacement bikes, but it's my first motorcycle so I can't compare to anything.

3" lift. $10K in TRD options. Richie's semi-hidden bumper, and soon his Elka suspension
change your sprockets for better highway manners.

Yet not what you want on the trails!

You want the lower gearing on the trails.

@TacooSaucee My 350 would do 140/kmh on Olrig rd with me tucked down on the tank on one downhill section, that was fast as I ever got it going. Damn does it feel fast on a dirt road doing that speed :bikewheelie2:

I was going to re-gear for trails on my next sprocket change, I've been trailering it to the trails each time so no use in having highway gears.

I worked at a food plant years ago and with all the food allergy issues nowadays, they had someone come in to do a seminar. The person placed some of the UV dye on the door knob at the start but never told anyone. At the end of the day she turned off the lights and the black light went on. The dye was everywhere. Faces, hair, clothes, shoes and furniture. Was an eye opener for sure.

Having some issues with my 4WD system Wondering if anyone can help. I have a 2017 TrD off-road auto. My 4x4 light flashes all the time but is in 2hi. When I turn the 4x4 knob no clicks nothing and light just keeps flashing. I’ve disconnected battery and hooked back up but still flashes. I’ve pulled 4WD fuse and Ecu actuator fuse and still nothing. When fuses are pulled though no 4x4 light flashes but when fuses installed again flashing comes back. Any help would be appreciated. Also green mountain pics and videos are coming eventually just waiting on few more pics and videos from others I was out with making a video.
