The final price is roughly what the MSRP was pre-COVID on a 2WD, V6 SR5 DCSB. It would help to see what the dealer add-ons are. There are predator steps which would bring the price up, not sure what else is included. It may just be the picture, but those don't look like stock SR5 wheels, they kind of look like they are Pro wheels based on the concaveness.
Based on add-ons and if you want them, the price may not be too bad, especially at this time. People will probably knock the fact it's a 2WD. The majority of TW forum members will tell you get 4WD, "it's better to have it and not need it, than not have it at all". Those are the same members posting in the threads; "how to maintain 4WD in good shape periodically" since they got it and never use it.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...hape-periodically.686126/page-2#post-24211414

If 2WD suits your needs and you like the color, it's not a terrible deal at this time. You may be able to negotiate more with the dealer as well. Good Luck.

I wasn't knocking it, just saying why the price is where it is. Down the road will be harder to trade/sell since most do want 4wd whether they use it or not. Interested into why the OP doesn't just keep his 2020 SR and upgrade a few things as needed unless he wants the powerseat or V6.

Sorry, the comment wasn't meant at you...it was just a generic statement in preparation for the comments. I understood you were just stating it's 2WD.

Only reference I have is my buddy got a 2019 2wd SR5 in the summer of 2019. He was right at 30K for it or a few hundred over. You may be able to make up the difference though with your SR, it's possible that the SR is worth more than you paid for it. When I checked mine at Carvana they were offering about 3k over what I paid for it, I checked my son's 2019 2wd SR and they were over what we paid for that as well, more than a year after we purchased it.

My Sr is worth 2k more (trade in value). I got a super deal later October. Very similar to the Carvana offer

Then you are probably good considering you have gotten to drive your SR some and you are getting 2K more than your original purchase price. Perhaps you can take off some of your addons that you have done to the SR to put on the new truck and still get the same trade in value. Assuming you don't have to have a truck right now you could sell your truck now, bank the 2k, and wait to see if the price comes down later on the SR5 when inventory gets replenished. Great if it works , not so good if not. Anyway that's my take fwiw. GL whatever you do!

That doesn't seem like a terrible price, considering some people are having dealers tell them MSRP is the best they'll do. That's about 7% off the sticker. Have you spoken to the dealer to see if they'll budge anymore or price? Or if they'd match the Carvana offer on trade? I don't know how they do taxes in Texas, but here, you only pay tax on the difference between your trade and the new purchase. If they do that in Texas and the dealer is willing to match the Carvana offer, you could save a little extra on taxes that way.

Their trade offer is almost the same as carvana and yes trading to them will save me 1500 or so in taxes. I talked to the sales rep but of course phone is phone and in person is different. So I might drop by this Saturday

It's bad for last year, but this year not too terrible.
Personally I'd , I'd wait till next year.

In the end, if your older and want it go for it. Money is only money. And it's not a super bad price.

Yep. Time vs. Money. Which do you have more of? Considering that you can make 2 on your other truck and you are paying three over what my buddy got his for last year, plus you get the electric seat, it's a good deal. The profit on your other truck is what saves it.

Yea. If it’s still there Saturday I might go and see what kind of deal we can make. I don’t have much on the current SR. I’ll tell them I’m keeping my soft tri fold bed cover, husky floor mats and bed mat. They can have the almost new factory floor mats
