Let me start by saying I never knew anything like this existed untill I found it done on another forum, by another member. Its just badass stuff.

I picked the Predator Brown Deception color to start. Pretty much anything you can get wet, can get dipped.

First off, and the hardest part about the process, is finding stuff you want to do. First thing I did, was my bed cleats, a tacoma emblem, and a light switch cover.

The kit comes supplied with paint, clear, activator, primer, scuff pad, gloves,a mask and the film itself. You need to supply tape and scizzors.
    013-10_6bcdccc87608ea14b08a80d4c30dbbac1ab9e380.jpg

To start, you need a bucket of warm water*between 70-80*
Scuff the part you want to do with the supplied scuff pad

    015-4_4f5897348d4bb70ced0d8122eaada465cfa9f342.jpg

Spray on the primer, and the instructions say to wait 1-2 hours to dry.
Next, lay down the supplied base coat that comes supplied with the kit. You can change the base coat to what ever color you want to(ill post that later), but for the right look, stick with the kit.

Predator brown deception came with an almost sand colored tan

Again, wait 1-2 hours to dry.

After its dried, get a bucket of warm water, again between 70-80*.

Roll out the film, and lay your item down on it to determine how much film you will need. Cut it out, and you need to tape around the edges to help with the process.

Cut slits in the edges to help the ink spread out when the activator is sprayed on it. The film is labeled this side up on the roll, so make sure it only goes in the water the right way. This is also where you will want to put on the supplied gloves.

Hold the film in a sling type shape, and slowly place into water, avoiding any air bubbles. Wait 60 seconds.
    019-2_f377f08227b23c6397f0db94de59f170bf950541.jpg

Spray the supplied activator in a side to side, then up and down motion. This activates the ink and you see it start to liquify. wait 15-20 seconds.

No pics of this, but slowly start dipping your item into the ink at a 30* angle, SLOWLY. On items you only want to do one side of, you can make little "handles" out of scotch tape to hold onto.

After you dipped your item into the ink, swish it around under the water to get any left over film off, then remove from the tank and let dry.

Once dry, put a few nice coats of clear coat on it thats supplied, or you can provide your own, better.

And your left with an almost professional looking, camoflauged product.

Thats the only downside to this stuff, they send you the whole kit for $100, and its only a square meter of film. I think a tacoma would take alot more then that:cool:
