So I did a 3.5 hour drive up to Sacramento and back to the Bay Area - so thought it was a good time to see how the charge would work on my phone. SO threw it into the center console and and checked on it from time to time. I ran the phone down to 5% and then threw it into the center console - it was charged by the time I got to Sacramento - so I was then playing music from it (bluetooth) while driving back. Still 100% when I got back home.

Next up - I have a CarPlay2air coming soon - and this will be plugged into the USB head unit port - so I'll be able to use my phone wirelessly for CarPlay and charge at the same time. I'll get some tests on that - see if the phone heats up.

FINALLY got the last god damned piece of the Yakima Rack in (Side Bars). Had to drive up to Sacramento to get it - but here it is!
It does come with a spacer piece (Which I will put in once I get the adjusting T-nuts) which will make it look cleaner and widen the distance from the front and the back (Moves the front one up 1" and the rear one back 1").
I do have some T-Slots and Eye bolts, but I haven't put them on yet.

I was a little worried they might be too bright. That’s not the case. Other photos maybe are a bit closer to get a bigger effect. They are just right to my eye. Enough to help you find the door handle. Not so much that your wife will think you spent more money on unnecessary truck stuff.

Took the Tacoma on its real first off roading trip up to Gallagher Head Lake. All stock except for the Wildpeak AT3W's and it held its own on all the rocks and what not. Had maybe four or five audible underside impacts and only real evidence I could see was a dent in the skid plate, but that's why its there! Was terrifying and a lot of fun.

Awesome transformation. Doesn't even look like the same truck. Can't wait to get my 285's on.

Did the same and returned the H11 Hellas as they have a different tab than the H16. Purchased Diode Dynamics SS3 yellow sports to replace the decorative fogs.
