My truck is about 16 days old and the radio has frozen up on me three times, it will see the dealer next week.
Something to think about is that if a bug hits the front sensor(s), the system will think something is there. Wait until winter hits, the snow will drive it nuts, just how it is. Our 2015 Lexus does it and my cousin Grand Cherokee does it.
With modern day electronics, stuff like the above is normal.

The mirrors don’t create the blind spot, how you have them adjusted does.

The tin sound of the doors is because they are very thin, a little sound deadener will make a major difference, that’s what I plan.

your choice are to keep after the dealer and Toyota about the electronics, you paid for a full functioning truck and should get just that. OR sell it and take the lost OR live with it.

out of 9 Toyota Pickups, this is the cheapest one I have owned, but I will work to make it better. Toyota is making their trucks cheaper and cutting stuff.

    Aww

someone has buyers remorse.G o ahead and send me your truck. I’ll enjoy it without a problem
You get to keep the payments ;)

if you want a solid door thunk buy an S Class, otherwise you won’t ever be happy. And hopefully you were informed that most car manufacturers engineer the doors to sound solid when they are as light and as safe as possible

Comparing a Dakota to a Tacoma is a joke, one is a mule and one is the GOAT!

I love the "I hate my new vehicle so much I'm going to join a forum dedicated to people who love that specific vehicle so I can complain about it" mentality.

I actually had a LARGE amount of issues with the Android Auto and was getting quite pissed about it. Had to reload my phone due to other issues and since then (2 weeks) I have not had a single issue.

I have done the same, three times. the truck has been to the dealer for about 10 hours for the radio & elapse time since start no working and they dont know what's wrong and Toyota engineers want the truck back for more test.

well we have both asked the same Stupid question and the reply was Toyota Engineers need to see more data before they can replace radio. So let’s spend $X.xx on testing and a loaner car, but not an hour on R&R the radio
