Babys been born. Gritto's doing Gritto stuff. PA archery season starts next Saturday, stay tuned. As far as the new poll, let me ask "she who must be obeyed" what it means. She'll let me know what my answer is.

@Taco critter I see where you said that you have a 25 year old, what made you decide for one more at this stage
in your life. Really doesn't matter, just curious. Babies and puppies go together good, only babies stay babies longer, and puppies are easier too potty train. Congrats and enjoy, as you already know, they grow up fast.

Listen to me. Dont listen to respond. Just, listen.

Having kids is a young man's game.

Yes, I love my kids. You know why? I dont have to wipe their ass. I dont have to prep all of their food. I dont have to tie shoes, wake up at all times of the night, hell they are even doing laundry and cleaning the house. They are 7 and 5, respectively.

A buddy of mine from high school just posted on FB that his only son is now headed off to college. He's under 40 and has no kids in the house.

Do you understand how green with envy I am?

He did all of his late night/all nighters when he was 22 years old. Easy.

All nighter's at 40? Fuck off. You're lucky you dont get shot waking me up like that.

Sometimes I wish I'd knocked up a girl earlier in life, but I didnt because I wanted to be "ready". Aint nobody ready for that shit. Nobody. You gotta just DO it. (Giggity)

I openly, enthusiastically applaud anyone who has children in their thirties or later. You are a better man than I.

I didn't get married until I was 35, I was 40 when our daughter was born. I was too wild in my younger years and wouldn't have been a good father figure.

Yeah...........I had just turned 39 when my son was born. Rest assured I am a better parent at 39 than I would have been at 22. He already had two older sisters that spoiled the shit out of him. We were in a much better position financially as well, so yeah we sorta spoiled him as well. All nighters? Just a distant memory. Wouldn't trade any of it for the relationship I have with him. Kids aren't an item on a checklist and then rush them out the door. My son is now almost 21. Another year in school and he's off. Has a pretty serious relationship with a girl I would be honored if she was my DIL. Honestly, I'm happy to see him almost complelely on his feet, ready to spread his wings and leave the nest. It means I did my job. But it does bring a tear or three to my eye as he is literally my best bud. We fish, hunt, shoot, wrench together all the time. And if it's not that it's me, "she who must be obeyed" and him, biking, kayaking or hiking, going out for a bite. Ya, I'll turn 59 in December and I'm not quite ready for an empty nest. It's just been too much damn fun!!
