How often do people use their red lights/when do you use them? I’m on the fence between dual brightness and dual color.

Not sure when I’d really use red or the bright mode.


My dome has been flickering for months (cheap led) so figure it’s a good excuse to upgrade.

 

I have non-meso red for my map lights that I use often at night.

 

I have an original red light, with no option for white. Hopefully ordering a dual color this time around. I like the red. It doesnt attract bugs when Im camping

I've got the dual color map lights for a couple years now and I don't think I've used it a handful of times. Maybe once or twice when I was out hunting and prepping stuff in my truck before sunrise but that's about it.

i use the red more then the white. the white is f@#$! bright.

 

anyone know if the 3rd gen also fits the 2nd gen? ive been looking at changing parts out with black and many 3rd tend to work. They look pretty spot on in photos at least.

 

if that was the case.. why have we been waiting so long!?
