Sounds good. This is gonna be fun!

I think I'll wait until I get the motor broke in before messing with it. The temptation to wrap it up tight will be too much and it's only got about 500 miles on it! LOL

It sure is a dog in it's current state though.

didn't expect that. the earliest calibrations in '16 & '17 were the true dogs, ask anyone who's been on OV since then. the newer truck tunes are so so much better (normal, actually). but still sleepy it seems.

aside from the FI stuff going on, if you want to really get all/most available performance out of your motor and tune, then custom exhaust is the ticket. but I'm not talking about any kit. that's what the DTs were about. this motor responds well to an unrestricted exhaust. you can pm me for more info.

My 18 drove pretty good even before i got the ECU tsb done. Thats why it was hard to understand some guys complaints. Biggest complaint for me always have been the dead throttle pedal.

@Kruuuzn have you done the ADM yet, or plan to? everyone here modding the factory weirdness out kinda sees these as a package. throttle control and clutch control.

Oh ya, I did that last week and am I ever glad I did. That made a big difference. Now I have the same predictable clutch pedal I've been used to all my life.

I thought about buying the Sprint Booster or Pedal Commander but figured for not a whole lot more I could step up to VF Tune and rectify the throttle issue.

i used the Pedal Commander for about a year or so before OV came with his MT alpha files. then i sold the PC. OV is the right choice for you.
