Damn, this is going to be expensive! Called 3 shops- prices range from $980-$1100 to put the TX/Baja suspension on my truck. EMP wouldn’t touch it because they didn’t order it. Nuts!! Now I have to rabbithole through YouTube to see how hard shock replacements are. If you don’t hear from me after a few days, send help!

Honestly it’s not “that” bad, if you are somewhat mechanically inclined. I’ll have to find the other details of the kit you bought but if the coils are built your good to go up front. Since you’ll need an alignment, mark and loosen the 2 lower control arm nuts, remove the 2 lower bolts holding the steering knuckle to the hub (where the arrows are pointing in the picture) and then there is removing the sway bar. Then the struts have one bolt on the bottom and three nuts on top.
The leaves can be annoying, depending if you got an add a leaf, block or new pack.

6112’s are basically the same as the Baja suspension. 2nd and 3rd gens are also pretty much the same when it comes to suspension parts so this video might help

Some of these guys on Facebook act like stealth customs are god tier wheels. They seem like amazing wheels no doubt but the resale value for anything stealth custom is outrageous

Lol, people do that with Ford and Jeeps too.

I really like the way the BR6 wheels look. That said, they were my second choice of wheels. I really wanted the 4Runner 6 lug beadlock wheels. Those are harder to get, at a god price, than the SCS ones.

According to the poster, he wanted a 17x8.5 vs the 17x9. But still, I don't know how he ordered the wrong size...

TBH none of these companies make a top “Tier” wheel unless you get Volks. Being able to get a full set of wheels for around $1k is amazing but I think they also build them that way because they know they’re going to get beat up. (Unless you’re @RobP62)

I spent $980 PER wheel for my CCW wheels I had on one of my Volkswagens.

I ain’t bashing SCS, they are for sure a sick wheel! The BR6’s are a wheel I definitely thought about but I would be OCD trying not to bang em up so that’s why I went with some used methods. I’m curious to see these 4R beadlocks you speak of?

I should have said the fake beadlock wheels, sorry about that. They are the Rock Warrior, same as the Tundra but 6 lug. Even with them being silver, I wanted them. https://trdtoyotaparts.elmoretoyota...MIwv_o2c796wIVAWKGCh01mggrEAQYAyABEgLbSfD_BwE
