Historically, I have been trading cars/trucks every three to four years, first GM and Toyota the last thirty, My finances, the economy and my age are causing me to consider keeping my Taco indefinitely I have 7000 mi. on my year old truck. My mail box is full of different Insurance Company offers to 100000mi. warranties with lo to no deductibles, rental reimbursements Etc.
The opportunities are endless, to separate me from my money.
What I want is a policy that is Accepted at all Toyota Dealers, I have heard that this is a competitive business, and that you can buy a policy anywhere.
Please and thankyou for any and all advice.

Ever wonder why dealers push extended warranty plans so hard? The make a bloody fortune off of them.

Since you asked though, I'll offer the same advice I always offer in this case. Take the money you would spend on one of those bad boys and put it in a special / separate bank account. Every time you need a repair that would have been covered by the warranty, take the money out of that account. (Remember, not everything is covered.) I'll be you good money that when you sell your vehicle, you'll still have money in that account.

    This is great advice.
    I say do this.

Being a 2019, you should be ok on the Timing Cover leak.
    That is a big expense.
I believe it was “fixed” sometime around 2018. But don’t hold me to it.
Someone else can probably confirm that?
