Has anyone used a RYOBI 18-Volt ONE+ Cordless 10 in. Orbital Buffer? Especially on headlights?

I think they work a little to well. All six 1oz traps were empty within a week. I bought a few more 6 packs of them and will keep it up until they are all gone.

On the good side they haven't entered the house since I have been feeding them the Jim Jones cocktail.

Old toilet lid broke, which is now leading to a full bathroom gut and remodel. Anyone have any good recommendations for new toilets that can flush some serious shit?

Totos a bit out of the price range for this. Trying to keep it around $200. My plumber buddy can get torten, which is made by Toto for relatively cheap. That Kohler also looks promising.

Gunna try to get everything done for under 2k. 5x8 bathroom with a 4x3 stand up shower within it.

I get that. This is a starter home and we most likely won’t be in it much longer due to work moving us. Not trying to put high end finishes in a house that the prospective buyer won’t notice in this price point.

fine by me but a toilet isn't so much a finish as a function

:anonymous: Especially when you’re buyin’ 300 or so pieces. The “higher ups” get their eyebrows up just a tad.

The kitchen is coming along nicely. Yesterday I got rough electric and plumbing inspections. Passed both easily. Got the drywall on the 97% of the walls and ceiling today. The ceiling wasn't planned but we had the old popcorn tested and it's 3% asbestos. I wanted to scrape it but my wife looked up the law of it. In CA if you remove more then a 100 sq/ft section you have to have it done by a licensed asbestos company. So I opted for another $150 in drywall and 4 hours of my time. That way it's completely encapsulated and I'll have the inspector note that on the permit so there's a record of it.
