Yeah I generally do that as well. Likewise throw that on if I'm buying coffee at one of the local places or even starbucks

Yeah that makes sense. Honestly don't eat out or order food much at all anymore. I definitely tip a donut shop where I get breakfast if I'm running late for work in the morning. But I couldn't tell you the last time I got pizza or went to a coffee shop.

That hits hard. I bring a simple ham sandwich and apple with a protein bar most days. Or leftovers. Literally if you stay in the office to eat people just act like you aren't eating. I'll get sent on excursions in the middle of lunch by the higher ups. Meanwhile my coworkers and my boss are chilling at some restaurant nearby or at home. I can't justify the drive home and don't make enough money to eat out everyday.

My 10 year plan for the truck is to extend the frame 8 inches and make the bed longer somehow... I need to figure out how to not make it janky.

I'm 6'2" and sleep okay diagonally.. 8 more inches would be perfect mix of just long enough but not too long

As nice as 8ft bed sounds I think it would make it tougher on the trail. That's just me, I know guys wheel with longer stuff out there but I'm a short wheel base kinda guy

The ex cab tacoma is already too long

I'm just over 6' with a DCSB. I'm pretty sure if I make a platform above the wheel wells I'll fit properly diagonally. I slept diagonally during my CO trip in 2019. The wheel wells were what bothered me. Then make my tools and gear slide out from under the platform.

Same issue, that's why I plan to build a drawer system. To hold all that and the sleeping platform above.. but I'm going to put my bed cap with linear actuators and fill the side with tent material when it's in the up position
