Hello everyone. I have owned a 2008 4x2 Tacoma for three years, which I really enjoyed, and am now moving up to a 2011 4x4 SR5 double cab. I am picking it up on Saturday. I loved the 4x2, but one of the reasons I decided to make the change is because I don't want to die on the way to work. And trust me, I will if I keep driving the 4x2 (no offense intended to it).

Not looking at doing any mods right now, but who knows in the future. Hopefully I will learn a lot from you guys about these trucks.

    Have a nice day.

awesome! that's the one i went with (2010) welcome to this forum too. it's a great resource.

i had the chance to spend a month in cold lake back in summer, 2009 and got into edmonton for one of those weekends. it's a really great place but it was very, very cold the first week or so. i'll bet you really do need a 4-by up there!

Right on. Looking back on the last three winters I don't know how I'm still alive. I'm really good at drifting now, at least.
