There's this too. Christian is a friend of mine who just recently got his installed, and had those things to say in the comments section of the vid he posted, which is yet another video of a 3GT doing donuts.

He paid for the kit, isn't an influencer, currently plans on posting a thorough review after 2 months with the supercharger with his likes and dislikes and 0-60 and dyno and whatnot.

So. I'll ask this again. Is the S/C pulley's shaft the same OD, as the 2nd Gen's, or another version, which has aftermarket support for pulley swaps?

A simple measurement will help. That will then open the doors to make these more exciting.

    where’s the vid!

Lots of mixed impressions. Sounds like from stock to supercharger it’s a big difference but not so much going from a OV Tune to supercharger...

like i said its noticeable and is what the truck should of had from the factory. its roughly 80 hp to a 280 hp motor. this isnt 150hp to a v8. but this makes it drive like it has a 5.3l v8 in tho. passing was nice one down shift and the truck starts to move well. off the line has more torque. but in the end we are working with a small motor.

The vid is on facebook in a few Tacoma owners pages, but there's really nothing to see. It's just a vid of the truck doing donuts like the other influencer vids, with music almost entirely masking the sound of the sc

Don't you think I know this? Still a piece of the puzzle. The stock system can handle x amount of additional power before other upgrades must be done. Without going back and looking, I am pretty sure that the base twin turbo kit puts out more HP than this S/C, without fueling upgrades. Minus the fuel pump recall. Which should then mean this kit has room for improvement, right out of the box.

But doing nothing nets no gain. Multiple points of improvement can be approached simultaneously.

I guess what I'm saying is they're already at their fueling limit. Like they wouldn't wanna release a boring underwhelming kit. But that's a fat assumption by me

I edited my last post. A quick reference to their output levels to compare to this S/C output, would be a good starting point.

I don't think this is necessarily true yet. I just don't think their tune is as dialed in as it could (should) be.

Edit* I was too slow, see the guru above.

I thought u were talking about pumping up the current numbers. But you're talking about after fuelling is no longer an issue and just peak numbers etc. I'm following you now
