cool. If I remember correctly your truck is lifted more than mine, my lift is pretty mild. When your bed is unloaded are you getting any rake or is it pretty level? Also how’s the ride when your bed is empty? Are the springs pretty quiet and don’t make a lot of noise?

 

so i have about 35lbs of sound deadening in the cab to mute the exhaust. i really dont have any squeek complaints after a year. i also have 1" blocks. i always have about 100lbs due to my saddle box and a few tools. id say empty it rides firm, but not bad. hey its a yota, not a caddy but it rides nice for a lifted truck. ride is really plush with couple hundred pounds. i was pushing my luck hauling boulders but had probably 20 70lb rocks with my tools and wasnt riding bump stops. if you want light-ish duty these seem nice. with a cap, armour, steel plate bumpers and sliders id reccomend heavier duty if you want/need to haul weight. come for a ride sometime if you want 1st hand data.

 

i think they were about a grand too. i would HIGHLY reccomend aftermarket hangers. huge gains to be had there.

 

I don't think that's a discount tire problem, more like a Cooper tires problem. If Cooper doesn't make it, you can't have it. I haven't had any issues with discount ordering me a tire they didn't stock, as long as it's available from the manufacturer.

 

i would think thats correct. they get the sale right?? i was just online shopping at 5 am waiting for the ferry. id like a functional 35 with the least weight possible. like a tacoma that gets 30mpg, reasonable request right?

 

315 is the width in mm
The conversion formula is:
(First number) ÷ 25.4 x (second number) ÷ 100 x 2 + (third number)

Second number is aspect ratio, so percentage of the first number for sidewall. In the formula, it is doubled, because you have the sidewall above and below the rim.
Third number is rim size in inches.

 

315/70/17 is 34.5" tall, probably more like 33.5 mounted. Most 35s aren't actually 35, so idk

 

that sounds perfect. this lift i have just makes 285's look smallish.

It depends on the tire manufacturer, but what I've seen is the 315s are generally a smidge smaller. The Wranger MTRs the 315s are 34.7 and the 35s are 34.8. BFG KM3 315s are 34.4 and the 35s are 34.5

 

im not terribly picky on size. looking for a great a/t that is not the heaviest. currently have ko2's. does anyone make a c-load 315/35"?

i have. strong contender. between that and the coopers ive read good things.

 

So far. the only C range 35/12.5/17 I've seen is the Goodyear MTR. Will be my next tire...

It's also the lightest 35" MT tire you can buy.
