I can't lay any claim to the products life span or quality but this probably could have been figured out by a simple email, phone call or PM without having to bash someone on a highly traveled forum

Sometimes I do some bashing myself and sometimes I feel bad afterwards sometimes not.
Its nice that some companies back their products and have good customer service

 

those went fast, wish I had jumped on them when I got the email instead of hesitating. Got the map lights for now, will wait for more dome lights to be made. I want the dual color so I can get overlander points for having red interior lights

I think the main criticism here isn't the quality, its the quantity, lol. We all know the quality of your work and customer service is great, we all just want more of your items.

If MESO doesn’t have any gen 1 specific replacements You can probably buy any generic pair of “48 SMD LED panel” off eBay or Amazon and replace the crapped out ones. That being said I’d check the festoon connector first. Sometimes the wire on the inside doesn’t make contact with the shell.

 

You’d have to shave it here and there and it would end up looking like crap for $45. I would be curious if you can just buy a used third gen dome housing off eBay and just swap the entire thing out. I did that on my GX. Swapped in a 2nd gen dome light housing and run the domes fit for a 2nd gen Tacoma lol it’s more a matter of is the wiring/plug the same at that point.

 

**URGENT**
Well guys.. I have an update. Some won't like it, some will hopefully understand, and the rest will probably loose all faith. But I am being honest and want to keep everyone up to speed. I DID find an issue with the molding on the 2nd gen domes(only). It's my fault, as I just had so many other projects on my plate. I swear I first article inspected these but alas.. no excuses. I will post my email here so everyone is on the same page. If you want to wait the few weeks for this to get resolved I appreciate your patience. If you want a refund, works for me too. I just want everyone to be happy. THIS IS THE REASON all 2nd gens are "out of stock" I de-listed the rest until I get them fixed.

Honestly, this kinda thing happens. But the best part is that you admitted to it honestly and that you worked so damn fast to fix it.
