that’ll do. Should be able to get most of them. I couldn’t get the one real close to the u-bolts but those don’t move much so no more noise.
Side note, mine didn’t look like they were greased much when new so I had to jack the truck up and spread the leaf pack out a bit and pull the pads out which were packed with dirt. After that I haven’t had any squeaking.

I've used a variety of bits - hole cutters, punches and forstner bits. Each has its pro's and cons.

I've tried them all as well. Forstner bits are good. So are punch bits.

Well, sitting outside enjoying the sunshine I get an idea..............I think I should remove my Alucab canopy and go back to basics. So that is exactly what I did.
I also removed the fridge slide, Man I forgot how much that sucker weighed, it was heavy. After moving from California, I am not doing as much camping and don't need the whole set up on the truck. I also have and F250 with Camper so that will do nicely for any future trips. Anyway Back to Basics, I love it. It is like buying a whole new truck. I ordered a soft tonneau cover and that will be here on Friday. Change is good!

    Before the change...........

Man. It's been a while. I'm trying to catch up.

The best upgrade happened today. A paid off truck.

Awesome, don't forget to get your prorated gap insurance back, if you bought it from tfs.

You have a good point. I didn't think about that. I need to give them a call anyway, so I'll ask about that too.

We just paid off my wife's awhile ago and didn't even realize she had the gap insurance from tfs on it. I'm sure they bank on owners forgetting about it.
