We just paid off my wife's awhile ago and didn't even realize she had the gap insurance from tfs on it. I'm sure they bank on owners forgetting about it.

Did you ever get that Line-x body armor? In NJ I was quoted $10k & 300lbs. of extra weight. Would love to hear your feedback.

My new Wheel covers arrived yesterday, so I painted my center hubs and the Toyota logos, just waiting for the paint to cure, and then putting them on tomorrow. These are made to cover the SR5 wheels, scored them off Ebay for around $130 CDN delivered.

Wow, that's quite an operation. I had read somewhere on here that DD has re-engineered the reflectors in their LEDs to harness a lot more of the light, and send it where it needs to go, while other companies (such as BD) are basically using conventional reflectors with LEDs, and are not as efficient. When I swapped out the lenses in my DD ditch lights (to convert from "driving" to "flood") after taking the lens off, I noticed that there is NO mirrored reflector at all. The clear lense just goes all the way down to the circuit board with flat LEDs on them. Pretty amazing, seeing as how damn bright these things are.

I contemplate removing my shell and etc. almost every day to drop weight but I camp every week - jealous of your second rig! How's it camping in the alucab without side windows?

My Falken MT 01 tires finally came in and got them installed today. Got the 3-2 spacer level on a few weeks ago. The tires are 285/75/16 no rub. Love the look!

I am using Rustoleum primer and satin topcoat. I used this to address some shabby holes (after I re-dressed them) in the bed of the truck that were leftover from the PO's bed stiffener de-install. The cans were right next to the parts. I should have backed-up a skosh to include them in the shot! The hardware was barely annodised..... kinda sorta..... and looked like it might rust as I was looking at it. With these course threads, I do not worry too much about taping anything off. I will anti-sieze them during assembly.
The weather here has turned to near perfect for spraying outside.
