Well boys, passed my pt test for a new job today. Needed a 12:18 1.5mile run and I pushed through and came in at 10:49.

Wrapped the foot up and took a double dose of Advil and it held up ok. Stitches come out Sunday. Should be able to squat and deadlift in the next week or so.

Dude. Im so sorry you’re going through this. There’s really nothing we could say to help you feel better or help the situation but just remember that you have a whole life to live yet and are a strong motherfucker.

    Fuck.

Try 10 days of 4-5 beers a day and eating processed junk.

My body was begging for real food and some sobriety.

Took it light on the weights yesterday.

Has anyone here done over night oats?

Tell me about them. Do they taste anything like oatmeal?

I'm going to start eating pre-long runs now since I've build my mileage base and now it's time to turn the intensity up. Looking for pre-run carbs but want to avoid breads and stuff. Want whole foods.

Overnight oats look good but I may pass if they taste anything like oatmeal :puke:

Depends on what kind of oats you get. Regular do taste more like cooked oats, only not as gooey/sticky. Steel cut oats have more of a quinoa texture and a grainy taste. I like them both, steel cut tend to get stuck in my teeth though :annoyed:

I make mine with almond milk and add in some protein powder or peanut butter powder for some protein kick, then add a trail mix I make or some honey to sweeten it up just a bit.

So sorry man, that is terrible. I can't imagine how much that hurts...My best friend had the same thing happen earlier this summer all I can say is try and surround yourself with your support system and don't spend too much time looking for reasons...some times there aren't any that make sense.

In the long run you'll be so happy to find a true soul mate !! Imagine this after kids and serious wealth building , now that would be a nightmare. I had about the same experience with around 6 years invested ...had a weird feeling things were slipping and Suggested Mini break. Turns out she married some dude About 2 months later, so she had to be messing around. So glad I dodged that bullet. Imagine my surprise when less than 2 years later she was calling me to meet up ... Turns out she was now divorced and got a new car and the guy's house out of the deal and wanted to start seeing me again. I politely declined even though was single ... can't stand cheaters and liars. Not sure if any friends or family gave you warnings about her but they did in my case and yet was blind to them ... now I listen and know what to look for. On the bright side is the excitement of numerous pretty women I've got to meet !!! Even if only 1 date, it is awesome to just be yourself and enjoy the moment. Also, it gave me more motivation in the gym and got closer with friend and family. I know its cliche, but everything happens for a resson. You got this !!!

Thats probably better. Some of the baked oat recipes look better. I prefer more of the grainy rather than the mushy texture.

Speed work day. Said I was gonna skip since my first week back after a hiatus. Then last minute decided, naw I wanna ride some of my high altitude adaptions.

Workout SUCKED. Quit after 5 600m repeats and walked like a mile then jogged a bit to log my 7 miles.

Everything felt just... off. But DUH.

Should have gone with my first plan.

Today is one of those days I wish I could pay someone to eat for me.

What is everyone else doing? It's quiet in here.

Nothing. Rest week all this week and now I'm sick. Not covid but my allergies are kicking my ass today.

This week has been nothing but eating like shit and drinking gin every night.... I need a reset day to get shit back on track.
