Probably a '71 Scout II. Lots of little problems. The upside is that I learned a lot about working on cars, most of which I forgot after replacing it with a Toyota.

The glue that holds my center headrest together is worn out or something...

Stealership quoted me $500 for a new headrest!

Yeah, your truck seems to have its share of bad luck getting hit.

I’d imagine that you’re not gonna find a new 2WD Tacoma on the lot at any Toyota dealer in Alaska; However, I can’t help but wonder how many people relocate from other states where 4WD isn’t really needed and bring their trucks with them...

I was looking at houses in Alaska (possibly Anchorage but don’t remember) on Zillow just for the hell of it and saw what appeared to be a 2008-2010ish 2WD Ranger in the driveway of a house that was for sale, so 2WD trucks obviously do make their way up there...

Are there many Corvettes, Mustangs, and Challengers there?

    New bumper cover and labor...

This adjuster has worked with Butch’s Body Works, the same place that fixed my truck after I got rear-ended by a testing driver and sideswiped by a drunk driver, so he’s emailing the quote directly to him; Butch will contact the adjuster if he finds any hidden damage and I get a free rental vehicle if needed.

That is for everything, and again, here’s the story...

Woman who actually hit my truck with the Equinox was not the owner, but owner was present...

Both attempted to goad me into taking $100 in cash to “let it go”...

I forget to mention to them that I once detailed cars for a living and thus know a thing or two about what can and can’t be buffed out!

Definitely. Ferraris, Audis, McLarens, Mercedes, BMW, etc. Lots of motorcycles too.

There are a lot of 2wd trucks too, not as much as other places for sure but maybe 15% of trucks are 2wd up here.

People tell me I should “slam” my truck...

If the frame rots out and Toyota is no longer honoring the recall, then I’ll put a new frame under it and slam it; How about that?
