    Hello!

I just joined the forum yesterday after getting my first Tacoma the day before. It is a black V6 2016 TRD Off Road 4x4 with all of the bells and whistles.

    20200922_163033.jpg

It has 44,000 miles at the time of this post and came with a lift and 285/75/16 BFG Mud Terrains.

As much as I like the look of the MTs, they don't have much tread left and I will be doing a lot of highway driving in this truck. I happened to have a set of fairly new 285/75/16 BFG All Terrain KO2s in storage from a Jeep project that I never finished.

I'm actually at the dealership having the ATs mounted as I type this.

Here are some of the features the truck came with:

    Etune Premium Audio
    Premium & Technology Package
    TRD Off Road Package
    OEM Tonneau Cover
    V6 Tow Package
    LED Headlights and fog lights
    Multi-Terrain Select Crawl Control
    Lift & Bilstein Shocks
Limited Slip Differential in the rear
    Heated front seats

As my username implies, I am young and this is the newest vehicle I've ever owned and my first time purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. Prior to this I have always bought older stuff via private party. So I'm really excited about this truck!

I previously drove a '05 Ram 1500, so I will have to get used to not having the power of the 5.7L. I also am a Jeep XJ guy, so I have a little experience off road, but I'm hesitant to take this Tacoma off road as it is so nice! I'm not necessarily new to Toyotas though as I have owned several Camrys. Now my wife and I are officially a Toyota family as she drives an '07 Camry.

The first thing I did to the Tacoma was add some Duluth Trading Seat Covers that used to be in my Ram.

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm looking forward to reading and contributing to this forum!

Hello, just bought my first Tacoma. Black 2017 SR5 EXP Trim...I just raised the drivers seat by 1”, good visibility for a 5’6” man. Looking forward to any great mods anyone can suggest.

You may want to start your own thread. You'll have better luck getting replies that way.

    Thanks!

I had my first road trip in the Tacoma yesterday, driving 12 hours for a wedding I am going to this weekend in Springfield, MO. The truck drove great! So far I am really pleased with it.
