I just got a hold of the vFT files for my 04B61 truck. I'm not seeing Phase Duty 6, 7 or 10 in my list of maps. Also, you state in a reply to @ihatemytruck that the default for Phase Duty 1 is 76.79, but mine is 14.031.

    What gives?

If you post a shot of the values in each phase, we could probably figure out which ones to change.

Loaded your “performance“ tune (2nd to last) today. Took it for a spin and noticed the tip in is not as much as the beta 19770 that I’m used to. Have you ever ran that? It’s peppy. Yours seems to shift better though. I’ll try yours a couple days to try the cruise control on the interstate. I just have to press harder on the gas pedal.
If you don’t have 2.0 beta 19770, and want to try it to feel that tip in that I love, just pm me and I’ll send it to you via email.

What is consensus on speeds under Primary Shifting? Are those mph or kph?

We're going to have to create word docs on how to adjust the values for different MY's lol

Is the general rule of thumb that if shift points are raised by let's say 10% that the converter lock and unlock points should be raised by the same? ....or just raise locking points ....or is it ok to have the converter locking point lower than the shift point?

I really couldn't get a great answer for this... I haven't changed anything on the TC maps. Everything seems to be working and shifting great. I don't think the truck will allow us to make it destroy itself... Could be wrong though :notsure:

This might be the only thing I’d change on your tune... at least in ECT beacause that’s where I hang out while towing and would prefer the TC to stay locked as much as possible. The grades where I live are formidable and keep the TC unlocked to the point where oil temps get higher than I like to see. Even slowing way down doesn’t lock it up.

@OVTune are these maps like the shifting maps, where the one is a "primary" and the others are for special circumstances / limp modes etcetera... AKA we only need to change the "primary" map and not all 6 of them.

Appreciate the feedback. sound advice too. I'll see what I can figure out. I made the tow tune portion for hauling my camper. It's nearly 6000 pounds. I'd like for my truck to be as happy as I can make it while towing it.

I've been playing with the 3-4 upshift a bit for the last few days to get it where i like it but haven't messed with the converter settings till today. I was concerned that shifting while the converter was in a locked state could be bad or not so I adjusted the locking up by 10% also but haven't flashed yet. It's hard to try to guess numbers though since none of the throttle angle percentages are like the shifting percentages

I’m hoping now it’s possibly the computer I’m
Using. But sometimes it flashes half way. Some times 2%.

More likely a power supply issue. Definitely make sure all your grounds are connected well, including that one bastard pin...
