In that second video CVT guy almost seemed apologetic about getting his money.

He showed the email in the first video of the guy who tried to send back the wrong awning, the guy was a total dick about it even while scamming CVT.

I feel like justice was served and CVT should be stoked and the scammer should be shamed.

Yea, weather is a issue. But fishing is good and cheap homes with large tracts of land is a plus. Also, if its over 5 acres you can have a home gun range. So theres that offset to hurricane season..lol

    Yes, the fishing is great.
Home gun range would actually be pretty cool. It does have pluses.

It all depends on what you want, right?

For me I love mountains. I mountain bike, occasionally rock climb but not as much anymore, go back packing and do non-technical mountaineering. I love riding my motorcycle and driving my car on winding mountain roads. And then there’s driving my truck to places with world class scenery for camping in perfect weather. I love scuba and Monterey has some of the best cold water diving in the world. On the other hand ...Warm water.

Florida has almost none of that so it has almost no appeal to me. It does have pretty areas but from what I’ve seen, and I’ve driven all over that place, nothing there holds a candle to the grandeur of the Sierra, our coastline, redwoods, giant sequoia, and deserts etc.

And I’m of the opinion that if you live in CA and you don’t take advantage of the natural resources and maybe the job market (depending on industry like tech) then there isn’t much point in living here. You can get similar stuff elsewhere for way less money.

I’ve also been to Orlando, Tampa, Miami, St Augustine and the pan handle. Not bad places just no where I’d want to live.

That's why I live here. In the lower 48 nothing comes close. I've climbed in the Winds, all over Colorado and pretty much every major destination in the US. There is nowhere that has the sheer vertical relief of the East Side. I'm still humbled every day by it.

It either there that I retire or Cayucos. When it comes down to it, I’m sure it’ll be a coin flip.

Anyone looking for alignment, don't bother with Firestone. "They don't do lifted trucks" is what I was told today after making an appointment a week or so ago and telling them at the time it was lifted. Sorta feel like if they cannot align the truck, they must not have decent enough techs.

Well here is the before and after. 4.88 with the 315/75/16s is better than 285/75/16 with 4.10. On relatively steep hills it will hold in 5th for a while then I drop to 4th and can accelerate up it at 70.

Now I have to figure out the fender flares, finish the break in and oil change, install the skids and fab a transfer case skid.

I had ordered those then ran into a guy with sas 40s and a v6 5sp with 529. He said I wouldn't be happy with them due to being over geared and more for 37s. I called ecgs and got a you'll be fine with 529 because of weight and a no way man, 488 cause of long distance travels and high rpm. I just ended up doing the 4.88 and arb front and I think I would have been fine either way. The long long term idea is 488 and dual tcase but who knows. 529 4lo 1st gear would have been nice though.
