I've been here for about 7 years and never made a build page. I'm lame and ashamed of my terrible build. Everyone's truck looks so much better than my turd.

I suck at stopping and taking photos, but I'm trying to do better.

    5MT SWAP

I’m in the middle of doing a manual swap on this turd. I’m pretty sure it will be the only 2nd gen 2.7L 5MT 4WD DCSB. Not that it’s much to brag about.

    Auto Pedal outta there:

    New Pedals Installed:

I don't know what the hell I was doing there, but shit got a little out of control.

Fucking hand parking brake not lining up:

Fixed with a 3D printed spacer.

    Removed transmission:

    Transmission tunnel almost ready:

Working through a few more details. Hoping to button everything up this weekend.

You throwing in a hurst shifter while you're doing the swap, or what's the spacer for on the top of your trans between the housing and the shifter assembly?

It's a URD short shift kit. I don't plan to put a Hurst of CORE shifter cause it's too damn expensive.

Understood, yeah they arent cheap.. Shifter makes some gear noise too. Probably wont have that issue with the URD.. it reuses the stock shifter assembly right?

Nice build. Are you planning to regear or stick with stock? I just noticed the weight you're carrying.

Yup. Reuses the stock shifter. I might make a custom shifter at some point. But not right now.

Man so many conversions on this truck! I never realized it was the 2.7. Is regearing in your future to get a little more grunt out of the little 4banger?
