Fuck you FedEx. My diff has been sitting locally since Monday afternoon. It needs to travel 2.5 hours away. I'm about to start hand-delivering to ECGS.

The postal general was likely called to review the suspicious content of your lowes bucket.

I opted for a home depot bucket this go around. I wanted to throw them off the scent.

I wish we could select who the shipper is. UPS seems to be doing a much better job these days overall. I just don't like when they hand off to USPS.

I have this problem. I have a package lost between a town 40 minutes away from me and my mailbox. All because UPS handed it off to USPS

I swear I think USPS does it on purpose because they think this is a subservient process. I don't even understand how something can be shipped with UPS then handed off. In my experience, USPS is a lesser fee on average than UPS. So basically UPS gets the fee, and how does the USPS get paid for the postage required (this pays for that service from start to finish) ? Our USPS is a one horse town type. They don't even wear uniforms. They look like they are using the same vehicles from 40 years ago too. We always put local sub shop gift cards in our mailbox with a card at Christmas. Just to say thank you.

The package was free shipping for me, so maybe that's why it was handed off to USPS? :notsure:

Nothing is free. The expense for transportation was not free. It's just rolled into the cost of the product. So the seller gets paid, the shipper gets paid, and then ultimately FedEx/UPS has to have some sort of contract with USPS to pay them. There's no way USPS is doing it for free.
