    Do you have the tactrix hooked up to the port while driving, which is connected to your laptop? Never done logging before besides a BT dongle. Which doesn't want to connect anymore.

    That's how, yes. I usually run the cable up and over the steering column to the passenger seat so it's out of the way.

    It's not a 4.88 version, but you can d/l from his signature and change the gear size pretty easy.

    just waiting for them to register a different computer. It’s my only hope at this point.

    I doubt it’ll work. I’ve used this computer to flash probably 40 times.

    Is this something that was a 1st time flash SINCE all your success with the dongle? ...or were you successful flashing dongless a few times before this incident? Wondering if this is a computer/license something.

    it's not related at all to the software / license.
    Toyota flash tool is the same exact software as the dongle, just without the dongle, and condensed for only toyota stuff.

    there is some connection problem going on with his ECU. Best bet is to open it and look for signs of damage. (unrelated to the flash process, some of these ECUs have internal corrosion)

    Those are 04B04 performance tunes and he runs 33” tires.
    I’m running it now (only 2 days). I ran errands around town today and it ran fine (didn’t blow up, lol), shifted better than the betas (got to higher rpms), but the throttle “tip in” is not like it was on the 2.0 beta performance tune- 19770. And IMO when you get used to the aggressive tip in, you got to have it!!! It’s addicting

    up the tip in on his tune by 5% increments till you're happy. I think his tune has it upped by 10% IIRC.
