    I snagged the Alcan at Costco. I believe it was the XL35 or something like that. I haven't had it too long but it seems like a sturdy jack and doesn't require too many pumps to lift my truck. Might want to take a look at it (or come borrow mine to see if you like it) if you aren't sure about the Harbor Freight one.

    My bad, it was a Arcan. It cost me less than $100 if I remember right. It is heavy though. Definitely not one of those aluminum racing jacks.

    Christmas lights tomorrow. Hurray! I got the neighbors to let me put lights on their garage doors as well. So now our tri-plex will all have lights on the front. In addition to that, I'm making an attempt to put lights on 3 trees outside too.

    I bought a ladder! I should be good to go. Wish me luck.

    This morning I saw one of the craziest things I've ever seen. Driving to work over the Coronado bridge and saw this guy rear end another car at like 40 MPH. Happened right in front of me and this guy on a motorcycle. We both saw it coming. Parts from his MG flew everywhere! I was going to stop but I had my son in the car and I didn't want to be the next guy in line to get hit.
