Genuinely curious here. I've often thought about the same thing. My fiance's 2019 4Runner has one touch windows on all 5. Why not us?

Why does it have to be super complex? Why can't the components from the front windows be modified to work in the rear as well? Instead of trying to make something from a 4Runner or Prius work.

Go ahead, do it and let us know how it turned out.

I rarely let the rear windows down in any vehicle.

Convenience. Several vehicles have them. In my case, I like to have all of my windows open, but can't close my rear window as quickly because I'm holding the rear window switches. First world problems, I know, but by your logic, why have one touch windows at all?

As someone who, before now, has never owned a vehicle with rear windows that go down/vent, I can tell you the air flow is definitely nice with the rear windows down. I'll even turn off my AC when it is 85 just for the breeze in town.

I like the airflow with the Sunroof and Rear Slider open, less turbulent than the side windows.

On hot days, I'll use all of them. It cools the truck off pretty quickly after sitting in the hot sun all day too. Even just venting the sunroof for a few minutes before leaving does wonders too.

I'm amazed by how quickly the A/C cools these trucks off on hot days. Personally, I rarely drive with my windows down but I do make a habit of driving with the rear slider open at times when I don't quite need the A/C.
