IMO, it is a lack of adequate reinforcement on those stress points where things snap in or screws go into. I noticed the same thing when I removed the tweeter covers to be painted. I broke a few of the tabs and didn't think I was pulling too hard to get them out.

Threw this out there once before. Has anyone bought and installed the @Hooligan Off Road roof rack? Considering this rack for my Taco but want to hear from actual TW members using it before making a decision and going for it.

 

It sure is. This one was paid off in 20 months, so it's a really good feeling.

So I decided to get one of those AVS Aeroskins. It actually looks pretty slick. I removed that ugly AVS logo though. The install was really easy, just use alcohol prep pad and it uses adhesive right on the hood. I didn’t think it would look good with the black truck, but I really like the aesthetics of it.

 

Does it just stick with adhesive?

The steering wheel logo, yes. The cupholder surround clips into the factory clip locations.
