So left work tonight started the truck and noticed a the 4wd light blinking. Shut it down and started it again and same thing. Ok driving home put the know into 4wd and nothing happens. Tried backing up and nothing... Its late and tomarrow morning or this morning ill tackle it. But any ideas? Nothing is wet and it happened on start up when I parked the truck there was no light on and i was in 2wd.

Turn the truck off, turn dial to 4wd, turn truck on. See if 4wd engages when you turn the truck on. That's how I engaged 4wd when my ADD actuator crapped out (4 times). Hence why I avoid water now.

Haven't had a problem since taping the ADD "oil" hole and avoiding deep water...

Anyone know of a decent spot to pick up Toyota plug connecctors?
Looking for 90980–12217 connector that Toyota wont sell to me standalone. WIll however sell the overhead harness for $350 though.
THis is for the OEM switches, specifically for the rear locker button

Maybe try asking at a different dealer or a Lexus Dealer.

Some of the US distributors list it on their websites...

i guess i can check Lexus, didn't consider that option. Maybe Subaru as well?

also to add; someplace that doesn't charge $30+ for shipping on a $5 part.... that was the other thing i kept bumping into, (yes i checked those sites already)
2 other US sites i checked demanded a minimum of a $50 order before they consider shipping it.

well i'll just cut off the one i have that's part of the OEM harness then....

Nikon here! Although I've been trying to get into more video lately, so thinking of selling my DSLR and getting into a mirrorless, or a DJI drone.

Truck update; this Trail Teams sold within hours of being at the dealer, sales guy told me theres a deposit and I 99% cannot have it :(:bananadead:

Thanks to the ChiCom virus, there's no cheap shipping if you want anything faster than 2 months...

I think the trail teams version actually is like the off road and has a locker? If you look it has the off road skid plate.

Who knows! I can’t seem to recall long beds ever to have rear lockers before 3rd gen came out with DCLB off-road trim.
Skid maybe the only thing that’s been taken from off-road.

No locker just a few petty accessories, I actually thought they had more too.

"The 2015 Tacoma 4x4 Double Cab V6 may also be enhanced with the Trail Teams Sport Package, which adds: unique black side-step bars; TRD exhaust system; front skid plate; roof rack with cross bars; and Trail Teams Sport decals."

Next on my list a 2015 in Midland (TRD Sport)...after that I might have to buy new or start looking at frontiers or something stupid like that.

3rd gens are priced like 2-4k less than new 2020 models and I haven't been impressed when I look underneath, examples:
    119566286_330980638347860_6163164947197392810_n.jpg 119816320_323458655588918_854069988172794205_n.jpg 119638624_2021860994616976_2918342093474004306_n.jpg 119770694_335790284430529_921860471936080838_n.jpg

I've looked at 5-6 in the last week that looked like this or similar. It seems they get leased and no one cares to undercoat them.

Get use to it man. Tacomas hold their value so good its actually stupid.
When i bought my 14 2 years ago i was only 7-10k off from a brand new one.

Now ones that are 12 years old are listed around 15k

Odd. Would have expected lower prices on the 2016s judging by the lease residuals. In the US, 2016s go for less than 2012-2015s. Wonder if it's plandemic pricing.
