UPS and FedEx have a Final Mile contract with USPS. UPS' is called Mail Innovations and I can't remember what the FedEx one is called. Basically, UPS and FedEx handle the logistics between the originating and final hubs and USPS does the final delivery. I hate both of them, but vendors use them because they're cheaper. I can't remember if it's one or both of the shippers that pass by my area in order to deliver to the final hub. Makes little sense to me. And these services are also painfully slow.

Any lair dweller have a solution for dealing with oxidizing paint? Contacted a few vinyl peeps and they all want around 500 to wrap it... which is out of my price range. My roof looks awful...:anonymous:

I have had really good luck when shipping reptiles overnight with them.

It actually looks like it is the clear that is oxidizing. I will grab a pic.

Okie dokie. If the clear is intact, you can compound and polish it.

My little project for this afternoon. No fancy mount, just drilled into the wheel well and bolted it up. I was pleasantly surprised that was an option, as I was ready to fab a bracket. Got it all wired up and just waiting on the rear locker switch/solenoid/air lines (which shipped today).

Hmmmm. That's iffy. You can give it a shot. Or take it to a detailer and see what they say.

You a breeder? What do you keep?

I use to breed reptiles when I was younger. Paid rent regularly by selling baby chameleons, pythons, colubrids, geckos, dragons, etc. Also worked at a large scale reptile breeder/dealer for a few years. After my second trip to the hospital from nasty bites from moniters (6' water monitors) I moved on. Good times though. Helped me figure out my career path. Now I'm a wildlife biologist mainly working with endangered species, including amphibians and reptiles.

I almost put mine there but needed to keep that space open to put back my air intake to pass visual smog inspection out here. I'll remove my cowl reroute, put back stock intake, go get inspection, and then drive home and put the cowl reroute back. Not an issue in your state eh? You can pass visual with the cowl reroute?

That’s lame! No issues here. It makes for a perfect mounting place.
