Day late n a dollar short, But here it is

    V14 auto trans tune.

The purpose of this tune was to hope to help with hanging in 4th gear that was present in v13. 4-5 and 5-4 shifts have been adjusted a bit, as well as torque converter lockup/release in 5th.

As always feel free to hit me up with any questions or if you want me to throw it in your tune for you!

When looking at the "Gear Pressures" tab on the Excel file I see different columns. Are the NA and TRD stock tunes or is that NA stock and TRD Supercharged stock tunes?

NA and TRD are the stock tunes i have observerved for the NA and TRD supercharged tunes. (there are some variances here n there, but the NA stock is based off the 2012+). Everything I run regardless of truck is the ND4's column.

Well there is a ton of reading to do here lol. I just got the P0418 code in reference to the secondary air injection pump, haven't called the dealer yet to see if my 2013 is still covered under some extended emissions warranty or something but was told to come here and and see how some people are turning it off for "offroad trucks".

If you are popping codes you definitely want to have it repaired, there is potential for exhaust gasses to blow by the SAI valving and back up into the filter and pump leading to melting or fire (the reason some of the associated codes will out you into limp mode). I have a 2012 that had an SAI failure around 40k miles. There is a significant service extension to the original warranty on this, it is a known troubled system in our trucks and Toyota acknowledged it a couple years ago.

Yes but what he is wanting to know is how to remove the system from the vehicle completely since he uses his truck for off road and teach use only.

@jpereira2 I'm sure others that have done it will join in with where to get the necessary parts. But you will need some block off plates to remove the system. Then hptuners to flash the ecu so that it removes the codes and does not go into limp mode.

If your friend installs a 2011 ECU, those ECUs don’t have SAI. Nothing to disable or delete at that point. So then he would just need block off plates.

I know the ECU will plug in but isn’t the cluster different on the 05-11 trucks? Not sure if that would confuse the body ECU?
