dude got lucky his predicament got so much press that he didn't have to pay for the recovery, at least that's how the article makes it sound (local Jeep club went up and got him). Although I wonder if he'll get hit with a fine for being caught up there in the first place, probably not.

Reminds me of when my friend sunk his FJ earlier this year in a wash on city property, cops just shrugged and told him "good luck, figure it out yourself" and walked away lol.

Of course in that scenario he paid for it with a ruined FJ Cruiser
