Newsome is a moron. Not sure where he’s expecting all the energy to come from to power these electric cars. If this is the case probably good to invest into nickel, lithium, etc for the batteries and then energy companies seeing everyone with a new car will need a place to charge up

 

I’ll stick to XOM and CVX for what it takes in fossil fuels to build and power EVs.

 

All I see is negative news for the economy today.

I tried to start a dialogue with the mod to figure out what we can/can't post here, but it didn't go anywhere. I honestly don't know what's safe and what's not at this point. A lot of stuff flew for a while, but then suddenly didn't.

Yep. I wonder if there was some complaints/reporting to mods, although I don’t really know about what. It really hasn’t been that saucy in here, or any heated arguments lately

 

The mods have shown up here plenty of times saying to cut the politics, and some people just want to keep pushing the line.

It is completely possible to talk about everything going on economically and not being politics into play, but for some it’s harder than others. Not sure how many bans it’ll take to get it through people’s heads, but eventually people will learn.

 

I can't wait until the updates to the thread are made. @ColoradoTJ and @tcBob hinted that we were gonna see some cool additions to the thread.

I know I could open another browser and check what is moving, but way too many things are listed by us in this thread.

one of them has said it many times, he usually peruses and cleans it up as he sees it but the minute it gets the report button, it raises the attention of all the mods.

 

The thread title does include, "etc." we don't have to discuss money 100% of the time.

It’s a grey area. Look at the posts about the COVID stimulus that were deleted yesterday. How is that political, and how can you discuss markets while leaving that out? Makes no sense.

I get it. But political parties set policy, tax laws, trade agreements, environmental standards, on and on....all these impact everything to do with markets and investing. So if we avoid saying he’s a bum or she’s a bum or must hate this country if you like this person, what’s the harm?
